Festgelegt werden die Grundlagen zur Berechnung des Heizenergiebedarfs. Die VORNORM ÖNORM ermöglicht unter Heranziehung der Nutzungsprofile, insbesondere des Warmwasserwärmebedarfs gemäß ÖNORM B 8110-5 und der Ergebnisse bezüglich des Heizwärmebedarfs gemäß ÖNORM B 8110-6 bzw. des Raumlufttechnikenergiebedarfs gemäß VORNORM ÖNORM H 5057 die Ermittlung des Heiztechnikenergie-bedarfs. Die Berechnung erfolgt durch Ermittlung der Verluste für die Wärmeabgabe, die Wärmeverteilung, die Wärmespeicherung und die Wärmebereitstellung, sowohl für Warmwasser, als auch für Raumheizung, durch Monatsbilanzierung. Die Ergebnisse können der Befüllung des Energieausweises gemäß VORNORM ÖNORM H 5055 bzw. einschlägiger landesrechtlicher Bestimmungen dienen.
