In dieser ÖNORM sind die Grundlagen zur Berechnung des Heizenergiebedarfs festgelegt. Sie ermöglicht unter Heranziehung der Nutzungsprofile, insbesondere des Warmwasser-Wärmebedarfs gemäß ÖNORM B 8110-5 und der Ergebnisse bezüglich des Heizwärmebedarfs gemäß ÖNORM B 8110-6 bzw. des Raumlufttechnik-Energiebedarfs gemäß ÖNORM H 5057 die Ermittlung des Heiztechnik-Energiebedarfs. Die Berechnung erfolgt durch Ermittlung der Verluste für die Wärmeabgabe, die Wärmeverteilung, die Wärmespeicherung und die Wärmebereitstellung, sowohl für Warmwasser, als auch für Raumheizung, durch Monatsbilanzierung. Die Ergebnisse können der Ausfüllung des Energieausweises gemäß ÖNORM H 5055 bzw. einschlägiger landesrechtlicher Bestimmungen dienen.
