In dieser ÖNORM sind die Grundlagen zur Berechnung des Raumlufttechnik-Energiebedarfs für Wohn- und Nicht-Wohngebäude festgelegt. Sie ermöglicht die Ermittlung des Endenergiebedarfs der Luftförderung (Luftförderungs-Energiebedarf) und die Ermittlung des Nutzenergiebedarfs für die Konditionierung des Zuluftvolumenstroms jeweils einerseits für Lufterneuerungsanlagen und für Anlagen zur prozessbedingten Lüftung, wobei in dieser ÖNORM ausschließlich Außenluftsysteme abgebildet sind. Die Ergebnisse können der Ausfüllung des Energieausweises gemäß ÖNORM H 5055 bzw. einschlägiger landesrechtlicher Bestimmungen dienen.
