ÖNORM B 6400-3

This ÖNORM contains the minimum requirements for the following exterior wall thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS) in accordance: — System I – purely bonded, — System II – bonded and additionally mechanically fixed, — System III – mechanically fixed and additionally bonded as well — System IV – mechanically fixed only. This ÖNORM also regulates the minimum requirements for the system components of the ETICS in building construction for site production (no factory production or partial production in the factory) and applies to all insulation thicknesses. Existing European Technical Assessments (ETA) based on ETAG 004 remain valid and are not affected by this ÖNORM. Structural approvals (BTZ) according to the list of building materials ÖA published by the Austrian Institute of Construction Engineering (OIB) are also not affected by the present ÖNORM.
