Diese ÖNORM ist anzuwenden für Heizungsanlagen mit flüssigen Wärmeträgern, für die nach den gesetzlichen Regelungen Heizräume, Aufstellungsräume und/oder Brennstofflagerräume erforderlich oder zulässig sind. Diese ÖNORM gilt für Heizungsanlagen, deren Heizkessel für die Beheizung von zentralen Heizungsanlagen bestimmt ist, dessen Wärmeträger Wasser oder Wassergemische mit einer maximalen Betriebstemperatur bis 100 °C und der maximale Betriebsdruck 6 bar ist. Diese ÖNORM soll dazu dienen, jene Räumlichkeiten und Einrichtungen in ausreichendem Maße zur Verfügung zu stellen, die für die im Zusammenhang mit dem Brand- und Gewässerschutz von Heizungsanlagen erforderliche Bedienung und Sicherheit notwendig sind.
