Diese ÖNORM ist grundsätzlich nur für Heizungsanlagen mit flüssigem Wärmeträger anzuwenden, für die nach den einschlägigen gesetzlichen Regelungen Heizräume und/oder Brennstofflagerräume erforderlich sind und deren Wärmeträgertemperatur kleiner als 110 °C ist. Diese Norm soll dazu dienen, jene Räumlichkeiten und Einrichtungen in ausreichendem Maße zur Verfügung zu stellen, die für die im Zusammenhang mit dem Brandschutz von Heizungsanlagen erforderliche Bedienung und Sicherheit notwendig sind.
