This document defines the principles for calculating the energy use for heating systems on the basis of user profiles for the heat requirement for hot water and room heating. Calculation is done by evaluating the loss of heat emission, heat distribution, heat storage and heat provision. The yields from solar thermal and photovoltaic systems are also determined, both for hot water and for space heating. These calculations are based on monthly balancing. The results are used to create the energy certificate in accordance with OIB Guideline 6.
