This Austrian Standard defines the principles for calculating the energy use for heating systems on the basis of user profiles for the heat requirement for hot water and room heating. Calculation is done by evaluating the loss of heat for heating distribution, heat storage and thermal store, as well as by evaluating the gain from solar heat plants and photovoltaics plants for hot water and space heating by monthly accounting. Results may be used for the energy certificate according to ÖNORM H 5055.
