This Austrian Standard applies to the planning, installation, appraisal, cleaning and inspection of air-flue gas systems
- for oil and gas appliances operating at negative and positive pressure conditions as well as
- for heating appliances for solid fuels operating at negative pressure conditions.
Installations where several appliances are connected to the gas system via a common connecting piece (cascade systems) are not covered by this Austrian Standard.
The respective provisions of provincial legislation are to be observed.
