Diese ÖNORM beschreibt die Gütesicherung von Rohren und Formstücken aus duktilem Gusseisen für den Einsatz in Wasser-, Abwasser- und Gasleitungen unter Verwendung der Oberflächen-Schutzsysteme gemäß den ÖNORMEN B 2559 und B 2560 und ergänzt somit die jeweiligen Abschnitte 8.3 der ÖNORM EN 545 (für Wasserleitungen), der ÖNORM EN 598 (für Abwasserleitungen) und der ÖNORM EN 969 (für Gasleitungen) sowie die Festlegungen für duktile Gussformstücke für PVC-U- oder PE- Rohrleitungssysteme gemäß ÖNORM EN 12842.
