Diese ÖNORM enthält in den Abschnitten 5 bis 12 die allgemeinen Vertragsbestimmungen für Bauleistungen unter Anwendung des Partnerschaftsmodells. Die Anwendung dieser ÖNORM ist für Großprojekte und komplexe Bauvorhaben vorgesehen. Die Bestimmungen dieser ÖNORM sollen zusammen mit den im Vertrag anzuführenden Normen (z. B. ÖNORMEN technischen Inhaltes) die gleich bleibenden Vertragsbestimmungen von Bauverträgen bilden. Die jeweiligen besonderen Bestimmungen des Bauvertrages für den Einzelfall haben die Bauleistungen selbst und die näheren Umstände der Leistungserbringung festzulegen. In der Gesamtheit soll damit eine vollständige Beschreibung und eindeutige Festlegung der vereinbarten Bauleistung erzielt werden. Für Verbrauchergeschäfte ist diese ÖNORM nicht anzuwenden. Diese Ausgabe ersetzt den ENTWURF ÖNORM B 2118:2006. Korrespondierende Regelungen wurden an den ENTWURF ÖNORM B 2110:2008 angepasst.
