This ÖNORM includes general contractual provisions for services concerning landscape engineering and horticulture. Jointly with the standards to be quoted in the contract (e.g. Austrian Standards of technical nature), the provisions of this ÖNORM shall specify the consistent terms of building and supply contracts. Particular contractual provisions shall be fixed for each individual case and shall specify the deliveries and services as well as the specific conditions of the services supplied. An overall and complete description and clear defintion of the services agreed upon has to be reached. As required by ÖNORM A 2050, the Federal Act on Procurement (if applicable), ÖNORM A 2051 or ÖNORM A 2052, the provisions of this ÖNORM shall be taken into account already during the tendering and procurement phase. For consumer transactions, the mandatory provisions of the Consumer Protection Act have to be considered. Relevant notes in this ÖNORM refer to this obligation.
