Diese ÖNORM legt allgemeine Grundsätze und Anforderungen für die Entwicklung, sowie die Verwendung von graphische Symbolen, die in Außen- und Innenräumen, an öffentlich zugänglichen Orten und in Bereichen, die vorwiegend der Freizeitgestaltung, dem Sport, der Touristik dienen für die Information der Öffentlichkeit vorgesehen sind.
