This notification applies to pressure tests of far-distance-, transport-, main-, distribution- and connecting pipelines made of cast-iron and steel, glass-reinforced plastic (GRP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polyethylene. This notification does not apply to the pressure test of liners, fibrated concrete pipes and concrete pipes.
According to international standards the unit of pressure in this manual is kilopascal [kPa].
