Diese Richtlinie ist für die Ausbildung und Prüfung von Kunststoffgas- und -Wasserrohrlegern zur Verlegung von Rohren und Rohrleitungsteilen aus Polyethylen und aus Polyvinylchlorid anzuwenden.
Die "Bescheinigung Kunststoffrohrleger" nach dieser Richtlinie berechtigt zur Verlegung von Gas- und/oder Wasserrohrleitungen aus Polyethylen und Polyvinylchlorid mit deren zugelassenen Verbindungstechniken.
Die mit der Bescheinigung erteilte Berechtigung ersetzt nicht gesetzliche oder normative Vorgaben, sowie allfällige, durch den Hersteller geforderte, Produktunterweisungen.
