Die technischen Regeln Kunden-Erdgasanlagen (G K-Serie) sind für alle Gasanlagen nach der Hauptabsperreinrichtung, unabhängig von ihrer Nutzung (privat, gewerblich, industriell oder landwirtschaftlich), die mit Brenngasen gemäß ÖVGW-Richtlinie G 31 versorgt werden, anzuwenden.
Diese Richtlinie gilt für die Planung und Errichtung von Balgengaszählern und statischen Gaszählern (z. B. Ultraschallzählern, mikrothermischen Zählern) bis zu einer max. Belastung von 40 m³/h. Andere Gasmengenmessanlagen sind in Abstimmung mit dem Netzbetreiber unter Berücksichtigung dieser Richtlinie sowie der ÖVGW-Richtlinie G E521 zu planen und zu errichten.
Anderslautende gesetzliche Bestimmungen oder bescheidmäßige Anordnungen werden durch die vorliegenden Richtlinien nicht berührt.
