Diese Richtlinie gilt gemeinsam mit der ÖVGW Richtlinie G E500 für die Planung, Errichtung und Erstprüfung von Gasdruckregelanlagen vor der Hauptabsperreinrichtung gemäß ÖVGW Richtlinie G E151, für in der ÖVGW Richtlinie G 31 angegebenen Brenngase mit einem Eingangsdruckbereich von > 100 mbar bis < 100 bar. Sie gilt auch für Instandsetzungstätigkeiten solcher, gemäß ÖVGW Richtlinie G B111 außer Betrieb genommener, Gasdruckregelanlagen.
