Diese Richtlinie gilt gemeinsam mit der ÖVGW-Richtlinie G E100 für Planung, Errichtung und Erstprüfung von Erdgasleitungen aus Polyethylen (PE) für eine Gasqualität gemäß ÖVGW-Richtlinie G 31.
Sie gilt auch für Instandsetzungstätigkeiten von Leitungen die gemäß ÖVGW-Richtlinie G B111 außer Betrieb genommen wurden.
