Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gibt Anweisungen grundsätzlich technischer Art über die Reparatur, Überholung, Regenerierung und Veränderung eines zertifizierten Betriebsmittels, das für die Verwendung in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen konstruiert wurde; - gilt nicht für die Instandhaltung, außer wenn Reparatur und Überholung nicht von der Instandhaltung getrennt werden können. Er gibt auch keinerlei Hinweise über Kabeleinführungssysteme, die nach Wiedereinbau des Betriebsmittels erneuert werden müssen; - kann nicht auf Zündschutzart "m" angewendet werden; - setzt voraus, dass durchgehend bewährte technische Lösungen gewählt werden.
