Diese Europäische Norm bezieht sich auf ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 50117-1 und ist in Verbindung mit dieser Fachgrundspezifika-tion zu lesen. Die vorliegende Spezifikation bezieht sich auf Außenkabel zur Anwendung in Kabelverteil-systemen bei Temperaturen von -40 °C bis +70 °C, welche im Frequenzbereich zwischen 5 MHz und 1 000 MHz betrieben werden. Die vorliegende Spezifikation stimmt mit den Anforderungen der ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 50083 überein. Zweck dieser Europäischen Norm ist, die zutreffenden Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen der elektrischen und mechanischen Eigenschaften der Kabel sowie das Verhalten der Kabel gegenüber Umgebungsbedingungen und das Brandverhalten festzulegen.
