Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM enthält Bestimmungen für den Umfang von Plänen und Unterlagen für Elektro-Installationen als Ergänzung zu ÖNORM/ÖVE EN 61082-4. Die Grundlage dieser Norm bilden die Teile 1 bis 4 der ÖNORM/ÖVE EN 61082. Sie ist für die Ausführung von Schaltungsunterlagen für Elektro-Installationen anzuwenden und legt Regeln für den Inhalt der verschiedenen Stufen der Planung während der Entwicklung eines Elektro-Installationsprojektes fest und sie konkretisiert die ÖNORM/ÖVE EN 61082-4 für diesen Anwendungszweck. Festlegungen zur Dimensionierung, Ausstattung oder Ausführung von Elektro-Installationen sind nicht Gegenstand dieser Norm. Diese Festlegungen sind den einschlägigen österreichischen Bestimmungen zu entnehmen. Die im Anhang enthaltenen Pläne sind Beispiele für die Darstellung der Planungsstufen eines Elektro-Installationsplans.
