Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM ist gemeinsam mit ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8002-1 für das Errichten und Instandhalten von Starkstromanlagen einschließlich der Sicherheitsstromversorgungsanlagen in Veranstaltungsstätten und zugehörenden Rettungswegen anzuwenden.
Wo auf ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8002-1 verwiesen, ist immer Ausgabe 2007 anzuwenden.
Auf Sakralbauten ist die vorliegende ÖVE/ÖNORM nur soweit anwendbar, als im Einzelfall dies von der Landesbehörde in entsprechenden behördlichen Genehmigungsverfahren festgelegt wird.
Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM ist nicht für Veranstaltungsstätten in fliegenden Bauten anzuwenden. Hierfür gilt ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8002-8.
