Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für das Errichten von elektrischen Anlagen für Fahrtreppen und Fahrsteige bis zu den Eingangsklemmen (Eintrittsklemmen) des Hauptschalters jedes unabhängigen Kraftstromkreises (zB Antrieb) der Fahrtreppe oder des Fahrsteigs und der nachgeschalteten Kreise (zB Steuerung, Bremse). Ab den Eingangsklemmen (Eintrittsklemmen) gelten die Bestimmungen gemäß ÖNORM EN 115-1. Sie gilt auch für die Stromzufuhr der Beleuchtung, Steckdosen und Heizungssysteme in Betriebsräumen, Antriebs- und Umkehrstationen der jeweiligen Fahrtreppen und Fahrsteige.
