Sie gilt für Flächenheizanlagen in Gebäuden, zB auf und in Wänden, Fußböden und Decken; Freiflächenheizanlagen; Heizanlagen für Dachrinnen- bzw. Entwässerungsrinnen; Dachflächenheizanlagen; Rohrbegleitheizanlagen; sonstige Heizanlagen mit Heizleitungen, zB Heizanlagen zur Erzielung bestimmter Oberflächentemperaturen (zB Prozesstemperatur oder Vermeidung von Kondensation). Diese Anforderungen ergänzen die Bestimmungen gemäß ÖVE-EN 1 (alle Teile) bzw. ÖVE/ÖNORM E 8001 (alle Teile).
