Dieser Teil der Norm IEC 62321 spezifiziert zwei normative und zwei informative Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Di-iso-butylphthalat (DIBP), Di-n-butylphthalat (DBP), Benzylbutylphthalat (BBP), Di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalat (DEHP), Di-n-octylphthalat (DNOP), Di-iso-nonylphthalat (DINP) und Di-iso-decylphthalat (DIDP) in Polymeren elektrotechnischer Produkte. Die Verfahren zur Gaschromatographie-Massenspektrometrie (GC-MS) und zur Gaschromatographie-Massenspektrometrie (Py/TD-GC-MS) werden im normativen Teil dieses Dokuments beschrieben. Das GC-MS-Verfahren wird als das Referenzverfahren für die quantitative Bestimmung von DIBP, DBP, BBP, DEHP, DNOP, DINP und DIDP im Bereich von 50 mg/kg bis 2 000 mg/kg angesehen.
