Diese Bestimmungen gelten für die Errichtung von Starkstromanlagen mit folgenden Nennspannungen zwischen beliebigen Leitern: (1) bei Wechselstrom bis einschließlich 1000 V effektiv mit einer Frequenz bis 1 kHz, (2) bei Gleichstrom bis einschließlich 1500 V. Sie gelten nicht für folgende Starkstromanlagen: (1) Förderanlagen in Tages- und Blindschächten, (2) fahrzeugtypische elektrische Ausrüstungen von Kraftfahrzeugen ohne elektrischen Antrieb, (3) Traktionsstromanlagen elektrischer Bahnen und Oberleitungsbusse (Obusse), (4) Starkstromanlagen von Flugzeugen, (5) Starkstromanlagen von Schiffen.
