The present ON Rule describes emergency, crisis and business continuity management in an organisation. Emergency and crisis management enables an organisation to respond quickly and adequately to emergencies and crises.Special attention is given to the tasks and functioning of the crisis management team, in particular to the assessment of the situation and crisis communication. Business continuity management concentrates on restoring the operational functions lost on account of an emergency or crisis as quickly as possible in order to ensure the performance efficiency und value creation of the organisation. Here, the focus is on procuring replacements.
