This ONR describes the design of risk management within the management system. This may be the embedding in an existing management system (e.g. ÖNORM EN ISO 9001). Since not all organizations have formalized quality and management systems have the elements of the risk management system can be built independently, documented and implemented. In an integrated management system in which several subsystems such as quality management (according to ÖNORM EN ISO 9001), environmental management (according to ÖNORM EN ISO 14001), the occupational safety management (OHSAS 18001) or the IT security management (ISO/IEC 27001) are simultaneously present, for the benefit of users the compatibility and integration of risk management must be ensured and made easier. In complex organizations, some additional instruments are used.
