This ON Regel (Rule) gives definitions and criteria for the assessment of evidence or information systems and the data included therin; in addition, a classification of the systems in categories on the basis of important criteria enables quick evaluation of suitability for individual users. The present ON Regel supports the selection of the relevant optimal system of evidence among the manifold and different system providers. Due to classification in categories, the systems can be better specified by the system provider - he can describe the system performance more accurately and better comparably for the participant/user because he finds the adequate offer for his need of evidence. Certification and admission systems are not covered.
