Sie sollte den Verantwortlichen für Verladung und Transport grundlegende Hinweise und Empfehlungen für die sichere Verbindung zwischen Ladung und Transportmittel geben. Diese ÖNORM kann aber auch z. B. für die Bildung von Ladeeinheiten (Stauen in Containern, Sicherung von Palettenladungen) sinngemäß angewendet werden.
