This ÖNORM provides a testing procedure to measure and evaluate visual driver distraction of a driver from the driving task when interacting with transport information and control systems (TICS) inside the vehicle. The ÖNORM refers tot he interaction od a driver with functions of a TICS while driving on a test track. Moreover, the ÖNORM provides threshold values, which have to be complied by the TICS in order to fulfill the requirements of this ÖNORM. The testing procedure is applicable for vehicles classified M1 and N1 (according to § 3, KFG 1967).
