This ÖNORM applies for Anger type gamma cameras (including gamma cameras with multiple measuring heads) used for planar scintigraphy and/or single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT). This ÖNORM includes requirements on the test devices and software to be used as well as provides guidance for the constancy testing. The purpose of this ÖNORM is to provide simple procedures for the constancy tests to be performed by the user with tools and facilities which are as simple as possible. The precondition for the constancy tests are reference measurements done right after the acceptance test or partial acceptance test. The reference measurements and measurements for constancy tests have to be performed under the same conditions and have to be documented.
