Bei der Strahlenschutzprüfung ist davon auszugehen, dass die nach diesen Regeln geprüften Röntgeneinrichtungen nur für medizinische Anwendungen benutzt und nur von Personen bedient werden, welche die für ihre Tätigkeit erforderliche Ausbildung besitzen. Es ist zu berücksichtigen, dass die Wirksamkeit des Strahlenschutzes nicht nur von den Strahlenschutzmaßnahmen des Herstellers und Errichters medizinischer Röntgenanlagen abhängt, sondern auch von der Betriebsweise, von organisatorischen Maßnahmen und von der Arbeitsweise der bei der Röntgeneinrichtung tätigen Personen. Die vorliegende ÖNORM entspricht in einzelnen Punkten nicht der Strahlenschutzverordnung, BGBl. Nr. 47/1972, da sie im Hinblick auf das Medizinproduktegesetz - MPG, BGBl. Nr. 657/1996 bzw. auf der Grundlage auf Grund des MPG heranzuziehenden harmonisierten Normen erarbeitet wurde.
