Bei der Ausrüstung für die Ausübung des Tauchsportes werden in Verbindung mit Leichttauchgeräten kombinierte Tarier- undRettungsmittel verwendet. Diese ermöglichen in ihrer Funk- tion als Auftriebsmittel einerseits, unter Wasser den Auf- trieb zu regulieren (zu tarieren), als auch Rettungsmittel andererseits, den Taucher an der Wasseroberfläche in einer ohnmachtssicheren Lage zu halten. Diese ÖNORM enthält jene sicherheitstechnischen Anforderun- gen, die die Erfüllung dieser Funktionen sicherstellen, so- wie die Prüfung und die Normkennzeichnung dieser Auftriebs- mittel.
