The ÖNORM series ÖNORM S 2109 stipulates the destruction of documents and data on different data carriers. The present part 4 describes the conditions under which data contained in electrical or electronic devices and parts may be regarded as destroyed from a technical point of view depending on the degree of sensitivity of the information. Moreover, this ÖNORM defines assessment procedures to evaluate the degree of destruction.
