ÖNORM S 2105

This ÖNORM includes provisions for the transport of hazardous waste as dangerous goods in the sense of transport regulations (ADR / RID). It therefore serves, above all, to classify waste according to these transport regulations and the resulting markings of the packaging or transport units used. The ADR Class and the UN number shall also be listed in the waste disposal documents. Since the requirements for the classification, the packaging and the entries in the transport document (ADR) or the freight letter (RID) are usually identical, but the user usually only knows or uses the ADR and its Structure. The provisions of these laws (eg admissibility of use, approval of types of construction) shall apply to the packaging in which waste is transported, which constitute a dangerous good. ADR shall also apply to residues of hazardous waste in packaging.
