This ÖNORM is part of the standard series ÖNORM S 2027 "stability parameters for the assessment of mechanicalbiological pretreated waste. The studies under this series of standards for the evaluation of biological reactivity as one of the parameters for the assessment of the deposition ability of mechanically-biologically pretreated waste thereof. This part 2 of this series of standards describes the process of determining the gas-sum donations by incubation for 21 days. The gas donations over different periods eg 90 days, but can be determined similarly to this ÖNORM by appropriate extension of the evaluation period. The extension of the assessment observation period allows a more thorough evaluation of the gas formation potential (eg from source materials lien for the anaerobic treatment).
