Diese ÖNORM enthält Anforderungen und Prüfbestimmungen von Dichtungen aus Elastomeren oder Plastomeren in Gasarmaturen der Hausinstallation für einen Betriebsdruck bis 4 bar. Die jeweils zulässigen höchsten Betriebstemperaturen betragen 30 °C oder 60 °C. Es wird unterschieden zwischen Dichtungswerkstoffen, Flachdichtungsmaterial und Dichtungsmaterial für metallene Gewindeverbindungen.
