This ÖNORM contains terms and definitions, requirements as well as provisions for the marking and testing of mechanically operated flue gas dampers for gas appliances, which are tested and approved as separate component. The flue gas dampers are designed for the fitting into couplings for gas appliances with gas burner or atmosperic burners. The flue gas dampers can also be fitted into facilities with burners without fans in front of or behind the draugth diverter.
