This Austrian Standard is applicable to pellets according to ÖNORM EN 14961-2 and defines requirements for design and equipment of pellet storages up to a capacity of 30 tons by the user. It is intended for all persons having the intention to establish and/or to equip a storage. If the quality of the pellets is ensured according to ÖNORM M 7135, ÖNORM EN 14961-2 and ÖNORM EN 15234-2 and the transport chain according to ÖNORM M 7136, there is no explosion risk in any storage area.
