In dieser ÖNORM werden Anforderungen an die Qualitätssicherung bei Transport und Zwischenlagerung von Holzpellets festgelegt. Es wird Herstellern von Pellets, Händlern sowie Betreibern von Zwischenlagern und allen mit dem Transport befassten Personen eine Hilfe gegeben, Fehler bei Transport und Zwischenlagerung von Holzpellets zu vermeiden. Damit soll die Kundenzufriedenheit hinsichtlich eines qualitativ hochwertigen Brennstoffes sichergestellt werden. Anwendbar ist diese ÖNORM nur auf Holzpellets HP1, welche nach ÖNORM M 7135 geprüft wurden.
