Ergänzend zu ÖNORM ISO 2768-1 sind für Abmessungen ohne Toleranzangabe im Nennmeßbereich über 4000 mm bis 25000 mm die Allgemeintoleranzen für Längen- und Winkelmaße festgelegt. Die Einteilung nach ÖNORM ISO 2768-1 in vier Toleranzklassen wurde beibehalten, wobei für die Toleranzklasse "f" derzeit keine allgemeingültigen Zahlenwerte angegeben werden können, da für den erwähnten Nennmaßbereich derzeit noch keine Erfahrungswerte vorliegen.
