This ÖNORM is applicable to the protection of groves and vegetation areas within construction sites. Groves and vegetation areas are of great value for the local aspect and landscape, the microclimate for recreation of the population. This value cannot be replaced for a long time by replanting; therefore the stocks have to be protected.
