Zur Vereinfachung werden in dieser Internationalen Norm nur Kegelstümpfe dargestellt. Jedoch kann diese internationale Norm auf alle Kegeltypen, die im Anwendungsbereich enthalten sind, angewandt werden. Durch diese Internationale Norm werden andere genormte Methoden der Bemaßung und Tolerie-rung nicht außer Kraft gesetzt.
