Es sind Begriffe und Symbole für Kegel sowie Methoden für die Maßeintragung und Toleranzeintragung für Kegel festgelegt. Es werden nur Kreiskegel mit zur Grundfläche rechtwinkeliger Achse behandelt. Obwohl nur Kegelstümpfe dargestellt sind, kann diese Norm für alle Kegeltypen angewandt werden. Folgende Methoden der Kegeltolerierung sind enthalten: - Tolerierung bei festgelegtem Kegelwinkel - Tolerierung bei festgelegter Kegelverjüngung - Toleranzzone des Kegels bestimmt axiale Lage des Kegels - unabhängig von der Toleranz der axialen Lage des Kegels - auf Basis bezogen die gleichzeitig die Koaxialität bestimmt.
