The culture method described in this ÖNORM is based on the VDI 4253 Part 2, which was developed for the immission field. The method described has been adapted for the indoor air and validated using the range of extensive investigations. Sampling, which is part of the complete measuring method is described in DIN ISO 16000-16 by filtration or, alternatively, in ISO 16000-18 with the impaction.
