Diese ÖNORM legt Anforderungen für den Einbau von Brandschutzklappen in Bauwerken fest. Diese Anfor-derungen gelten auch für den Einbau von Brandrauch-Steuerklappen gemäß VORNORM ÖNORM H 6029; auf den Unterschied (siehe 4.2) wird im Inhalt hingewiesen. Die Anwendung von Brandschutzklappen und Brandrauch-Steuerklappen wird durch Vorgaben der Behörde, einschlägige ÖNORMEN und technische Richtlinien geregelt. Diese ÖNORM gilt nicht für den Einbau von Brandschutzklappen in Holzwänden und -decken. Nicht Gegenstand dieser ÖNORM sind Feuerschutzabschlüsse auf intumeszierender Basis mit oder ohne beweglichem Verschlusselement.
