Diese ÖNORM legt Mindestanforderungen an die Dimensionierung und die Ausführung von lüftungstechni-schen Anlagen bei Verwendung als Brandrauchverdünnungs-Anlagen (BRV-ANLAGEN) fest. Solche Anlagen müssen so ausgelegt sein, dass unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen (Brandbelastung, Branddauer bis zum Einsatz der Brandbekämpfung u. a.) der Rauch so stark verdünnt wird, dass der in Abschnitt 5 angegebene Zweck bei den in Abschnitt 6 angegebenen Einsatzgebieten erreicht wird.
