This Austrian Standard applies to ventilation and air conditioning systems and their components in buildings and rooms used for health and social purposes, where medical examinations, treatments and surgical interventions on persons are carried out. The scope of this ÖNORM also includes operation, maintenance as well as hygienic, technical and economic inspections of ventilation and air conditioning systems. This ÖNORM may also be applied to ventilation and air conditioning plants in laboratories.
