Diese VORNORM legt u.a. die Anforderungen und Pflichten des Betreibers und Instandhalters einer solchen Anlage, die bei Inspektionen vorzunehmenden Prüfungen sowie die Wartungsarbeiten fest. Die VORNORM schreibt auch die Führung eines Kontrollbuches mit lückenloser Dokumentation aller Ist- und Betriebszustände einer Brandmeldeanlage vor.
